Grant of planning on appeal for the JFAN Academy sports scheme and residential enabling development. Another Uttlesford refusal by Committee contrary to officer’s recommendation to grant and won on appeal.

The second attenpt at the Uttlesford Local Plan proposed to be withdrawn further to the concerns found at the Examination in Public. The District Council has a massive majority by the Residents for Uttlesford party. The impending third new Local Plan will take the cost to circa £10 million since 2006.
St Albans Local Plan examination in public highlights numerous concerns and failings in the correct process of DtC and assessments. The Council now have to respond to the Inspectors concerns. The current adopted Local Plan for St Albans dates back to 1994.
